Since I posted the article How Did I Get Into the CDTM?-Sharing With You My Statement of Purpose I have received many messages from students who have found it helpful, felt inspired by it, or even decided to apply for CDTM after reading it. And of course, I have received A LOT of questions too. This is great because I love answering them and helping out others, but sometimes my time is simply limited, so here I am writing another article you can always come back to.

If you made it to the second round (the interview) — CONGRATS! And get excited! You can do this!

Once I received the email that I had been selected for the second round, I initially got really excited and then started to panic a bit. I remember that it felt very unreal and intimidating at the same time making it to the interview phase after my third application. I was almost giving up without even trying. Luckily, I have a very supportive system that encouraged me to try it out and convinced me I could make it. These words really lifted me up and I started to feel more confident.

Sometimes we don’t give encouraging words enough credit. So, hey you reading this article right now because you don’t know if you have prepared enough for the CDTM interview — I believe in you, and I think you will do an awesome job!

CDTM also does a great job preparing the applicants by sending out a document explaining the format of the interview and questions to prepare. Trust me when I say, everything in that document is relevant.

By the way, I need to make a disclaimer here: I have never been part of the CDTM application screening or interviewing team, so I do not know what exactly CDTM is looking for, instead, I will tell you about my experience and hopefully, it gives you a good idea on what to expect on your interview day.

As you already know, there are two parts of the interview: the personal interview, and the case interview, each of them around half an hour…
