Tech Challenge Participants

Team Medigital

Hi there Team Medigital! Can you please tell me how did you hear about Tech Challenge and why did you decide to join?

Tobias: Once when I had lunch with my colleague Jens, he told me that he will be giving an ideation workshop at the Tech Challenge and that this program is a great opportunity to give oneself a shot for the entrepreneurial journey. After his advice, I instantly signed up for the Tech Challenge and got the others to join too.

Max, Daniel, Paul: We are the others that were invited by Tobias to join the TechChallenge. We…

From someone who has kept a diary for the last 9 years

Photo by Gabrielle Henderson on Unsplash

I was 15 when I decided to have a diary. Not that before I had never had one, it’s just that I was never consistent with it. But it all changed during my teenage years. Like many teenagers, I was going through a period of overthinking and being kind of lost. I was trying to better understand myself and the world around me. One day I heard a psychotherapist’s advice on the TV, saying that writing down your thoughts in a diary really helps to clear your mind. That’s all I needed to know. So I bought a notebook and…

Business Plan Basic Seminar Participants

Team Nile (from left to right): Sandro Stürzenhofecker, Lukas Klaiber, Fabian Kraus

Hi there team Nile! How did you learn about Business Plan Basic Seminar (BPG) and why did you decide to join?

Sandro already participated 2 years ago and was enthusiastic about the program’s quality and how supportive everyone at techTALENTS has been. As he heard about the idea Fabian and I had with Bloom, he encouraged us to join BPG and thus to give it a shot. In retrospect, this has been the best decision we could have made.

What did you learn from this experience? Did it meet your expectations at the end of the course?

This question may…

Business Plan Basic Seminar Participants

Team Skyview

Hi there Team Skyview! How did you learn about Business Plan Basic Seminar (BPG) and why did you decide to join?
We learned about the BPG seminar from techTALENTS website. We were quite curious to work with other people from diverse backgrounds who share the passion for entrepreneurship and want to do something in the startup ecosystem. We all wanted to do something related to entrepreneurship and experience the journey of brainstorming an idea, researching about the feasible market, creating an MVP and eventually pitching it. Our entire experience with BPG was pretty remarkable.

What did you learn from this…

Tech Challenge - BEFIVE’s Winning Team

Team Packlog

Hi there Team Packlog. Can you please tell me how did you hear about Tech Challenge and why did you decide to join?

Franz had been looking for an opportunity to learn about the dynamics of a founders team. Being in the environment of the UnternehmerTUM, Tech Challenge seemed to be the right course. Hence, Franz talked to some friends and lured them to join by using each other as bait. We were completed by our fourth member using the Slack-channel. With this team, we were confident to rock Tech Challenge and therefore joined.

Which challenge did you tackle and…

Interview with Team Jointify

Team Jointify participating in the Google HashCode Qualification event (2021)

Hi there Team Jointify. Good to see you all in this virtual setting. I wanted to know what do you study and how did you hear about Tech Challenge? And why did you decide to participate?

Lukas: I am studying Master’s in Management and Technology, actually all of us are. I am specializing in Informatics and you just hear about Tech Challenge. It’s all over the place. If you do one course of TechTALENTS or if you let’s say have the Entrepreneurship and Innovation specialization in Management, then you hear about it and you hear about all the cool stuff…

How to Make the Best of Your Time as a Student?

A bit more than 2 years ago, I got accepted to a master’s degree program at the best university in Germany, the Technical University of Munich (TUM). At that time I was completely new to the university and the German education, so I had to learn everything through experience. Looking back, everything would have been easier if somebody could have given me some advice and shared with me some tips and tricks. That’s why I decided to make your life easier by writing this article. …

And how to plan ahead for 2021

Photo by Kelly Sikkema on Unsplash

Let’s be honest, 2020 was not an easy one. For some it was devastating and for others, it was just different from what we were used to. There is no such thing as a bad year or a good year. A year is simply a timeframe we humans have created, an illusion. What happens in between is life. And life is never dull. However, the notion of a year serves us as a way to reflect on the past 365(6) days and thus better prepare for the next 365 days.

If you know me, you already know how much I…

Sharing With You My Statement of Purpose

I, a Centerling

If you are reading this article, there is a high chance you know what CDTM is, and most probably you want to become part of it (or already are a Centerling). But even if you don’t, no worries, I will explain it to you. Lately, I have been asked by some students and friends for advice on how to make a good application, and I thought it would be even better to write an article about how I got into the CDTM community.

For the ones who don’t know, the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM) is a joint…
